These photos capture my journey over the past decade since moving to the U.S. — building a new life, getting married, and raising two wonderful daughters. Family is the heart of my life — it keeps me grounded, inspired, and motivated every day.

Looking back, what I’m most proud of isn’t a particular project or award, but becoming a mom. Motherhood has deeply shaped how I design and lead — it’s taught me patience, empathy, and balance, and reminded me that real growth, both personal and professional, comes from care, curiosity, and connection.

My design career began in China, where I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Art and Design from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. With a foundation in visual design, I developed a strong eye for quality, detail, and clarity — principles that still shape how I design and lead today.

I joined Microsoft as a UX intern during university and soon discovered how design can bridge creativity and technology to make complex products feel simple and human. Sixteen years later — nine of them in the U.S. — my focus has evolved from crafting visuals to shaping systems, strategies, and teams, always guided by that same design foundation.
